One day my friend told me how someone used peanut butter to lure mice into traps and get rid of them.
What she said next was very interesting.
She explained that mice are so crazy about peanut butter, that they will go after it knowing it will destroy them.
This is how many people are with their sin—they continue sinning, yet they know it will destroy them.
Because satan knows this, he continues to trap a person in that area that has not been submitted to God and it keeps the person in bondage.
If there is something you’ve been doing that you know is wrong, you should let it go. Choosing to ignore God’s warnings can lead to severe consequences.
If you are struggling to let go of your sin, plead with God to help you. God is able to deliver us from any temptation.
Galatians 6:7-8 NIV
