One of the reasons why some of the people in ancient Israel missed out on Jesus is because they were blinded by false expectations and assumptions of what the messiah would be. In our walk with Jesus it is very important we have a humble and teachable spirit. Jesus Christ has poured into each of us a portion of knowledge and wisdom, that’s why the church is called the body of Christ. It is a body meaning it has different members to it. With discernment of the Holy Spirit we should always be open to learning from others because there isn’t a person who knows everything. Don’t brush off people simply because you think they are spiritually immature. Don’t brush off spiritual topics thinking you already know about them. With the leading of the Holy Spirit, be open, you never how God could work through others.
Psalm 25:8-9
Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
