People attach many meanings to Christmas. Even some unbelievers celebrate it, but for them, it’s all about their traditions.
The real reason for the season is Jesus Christ.
Luke 2:11 says:
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Christmas is a day we remember that God sent His son Jesus to earth so we can be saved. It’s a special time unlike any other, because God’s people waited many years for His promise of salvation to be fulfilled.
Where would you be today without Jesus? Let’s take time this Christmas to remember what God has done for us, and praise Him for it!
Psalms 103:2-5 NIV
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
