Daniel 1:19-20 NIV
The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.
The prophet Daniel lived an excellent life that glorified God. Because of the wisdom God gave him, he stood out from other Jews and unbelievers that he worked with, and the King of Babylon came to believe in God.
As Christians, we should be the most victorious, the wisest, the most excellent, and the most successful in everything we do. Not because of our own ability, but because of God.
God doesn’t always give us these things automatically, though. We need to seek Him for it!
If you feel defeated in any area of your life, invite God to help you by praying and/or fasting about the struggles you’re having.
Are you lacking wisdom? Pray and fast for it! Are you struggling with your job? Take short breaks to pray about the work you do. Whatever you need, God can help.
It’s time to take hold of the victory Jesus has for you (1 Corinthians 15:57)!
