Proverbs 20:4 NIV
Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing.
The above verse can be applied not only to plowing, but also our obedience to Christ.
God has a purpose for everything He tells us to do. If we delay acting on His instructions, it can delay what Jesus wants to do in our lives or cause other consequences we can’t see yet.
