In the book of Numbers, the Israelites were on the way to the land God promised them, but each time they faced a difficulty they grumbled against God about their situation. Some even wanted to return to Egypt where God had delivered them from, because their former slavery seemed more comfortable than what they were going through.
At times we will face tests and challenges on the way to God’s promises. God uses each of them to firm us in our faith and prepare us for His blessings.
If you’re facing challenges while doing God’s will, don’t give up. Don’t stop doing what God has told you to do just because things are hard. Instead, pray to Jesus. He will strengthen you and provide everything you need.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
