When God gives us the ability to do something well, it’s easy to feel as if it was our own effort that achieved results.
The truth is, every success we have comes from God. In Deuteronomy 8:18 God told Israel:
But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. (NIV)
Whatever success comes your way, remember to give Jesus the Glory for what He’s done in your life. It displeases God when people forget about Him after getting the things they want.
