In 2 Chronicles 32, the king of Assyria invaded the land of Judah to try to conquer it. He sent threatening letters and mocked the people to instill fear and make them believe that God would not save them.

When King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah heard about this, they cried out to God in prayer, and the Lord sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian soldiers. This caused the king of Assyria to flee back to his land, where he was killed.

2 Chronicles‬ ‭32:22 says:
So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side. ‬(NIV‬‬)

Are you facing an obstacle in your life that feels overwhelming? Do you feel that what you’re facing is so bad, you aren’t sure if things will turn around?

Scripture says clearly that the power of God is greater than what you are facing!

No matter what you are going through, whether it’s sickness, addiction, mental illness, financial hardship, marriage troubles, or anything else–you are able to overcome it with Jesus Christ.

Continue praying to God about your situation and standing on what scripture says. God cares about what you’re going through, and in His right timing, He will help your situation.

If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or have sin in your life that you need to deal with, you must first surrender your life to Christ and turn away from those things which displease Him so that there will be no hindrance to the work of God in your life.

If there are any sins you struggle to turn away from, never be discouraged! You can ask God for forgiveness and pray and/or fast about it so that He changes you.

2 Chronicles‬ ‭32:7-8‬ ‭
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.

Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

*If you would like to have a relationship with Jesus Christ or re-dedicate your life to Him, you can start by saying this prayer out loud:

Lord Jesus,
I believe you died and rose.
I confess with my mouth without anyone forcing me, that I am saved.
Remove my name from the book of death, write my name in the book of life.
Amen
