Our walk with Christ is the most important aspect of our lives, but that doesn’t mean God wants us to neglect other areas—including work.
The Lord wants us to work hard. In fact, God wants us to be the best we can be in whatever job or business we’ve been blessed with.
The Bible says in Colossians 3:23:
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, (NIV)
Whatever God has given you to do, take it seriously. God is watching to see how well you do your job. Just remember to stay balanced and keep Him first in everything you do.

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
