Mark 8:31 KJV
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Jesus suffered obeying the Fathers will, so why should we think obeying God’s will should always be painless? It may not feel good to obey God in the moment, but afterwards our obedience will bring us peace.
It’s not that God doesn’t care about our struggles nor does He enjoy to see us suffer, but at times He uses difficult circumstances to accomplish something in us that couldn’t be done in a comfortable place. Whatever God allows in our lives, He allows it knowing it will not ultimately destroy us. In the verse above, we see the Father allowed Jesus to suffer many things and be killed, but then after three days Christ rose from the dead. The death Jesus died did not destroy Him!
God bless you
