One thing I like to do is always make sure that me and my husband’s bedroom is clean when he arrives home. One morning I was trying to save time and planned to clean after work instead of before work. Then a thought came to me; what if something happens and he returns home earlier than usual? Then I would not have time to clean!
This is how the return of Christ will be. The truth is that none of us know the exact hour that Jesus Christ will return, but from the signs spoken of in the Bible we can tell that it is very close. This is why it is important that we all remain in good standing with God, because when Jesus comes back unexpectedly it will be too late to repent for our sin and make things right.
This is the time for all people to get their spiritual houses in order, and get right with Jesus Christ. Go forgive that person, or turn away from that relationship God disapproves of, or begin doing whatever The Holy Spirit has been convicting you about. Tomorrow isn’t promised, and Jesus is coming soon!
