I have heard of instances where people believe that Jesus is the way, yet they do not want to fully submit their lives to Him because they are afraid of what they will have to give up. I just want to encourage anyone reading this, that if you completely submit your life to Jesus Christ (walking in obedience to His Word and not holding any part of your life from Him), God will not disappoint you.
Many people “try-out” Christianity and they are disappointed because they don’t see any change in their life, but such people have not truly surrendered their lives to Jesus. It is impossible for anyone to be in a true relationship with God and remain the same! I proclaimed to be a Christian for many years,
but I didn’t experience the promises of God in the Bible until I fully surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. That meant giving up my sin and accepting God’s choices for my life over my own. When I did that, my life became filled with God’s peace, freedom, love and joy!
If you have the desire to fully follow Jesus, I encourage you not to put it off because tomorrow isn’t promised to you! I guarantee that surrendering your life to Jesus Christ will be the best decision you ever made.
