John 8:31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
If The Bible instructs us to do something, we have to do it in order to follow Christ! It’s non-negotiable. Living by the Word of God is what proves we are true followers of Jesus.
We certainly cannot live by the Bible if we do not know what it says, so It’s also important that we study our Bibles regularly. If there is a scripture we are having trouble obeying, we can pray and fast for God to help us obey Him in that area.
