For many years I tried to find fulfillment from being in a relationship. When that didn’t work, I tried finding fulfillment in my career. I never had peace living that way because my joy went up and down depending on how those areas in my life were going. God taught me when we find our fulfillment or meaning in a relationship, career, sport, degree or etc rather than Jesus, that idol we made for ourselves will eventually leave us feeling empty.
Have you been searching for fulfillment outside of God? Pray for Jesus to fill your heart with His love and help you be satisfied in Him.
