“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find.” (Romans 7:18)

Many times I have felt like the Apostle Paul did in the verse above. What I have learned is, in human strength we cannot obey God’s Word, we need the power of Christ’s Holy Spirit. If you would like to walk in greater obedience to God, seek to be filled with His Holy Spirit. The Word promises:

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”” (Luke 11:13)
