One of the things the children of Israel did which greatly displeased God, is that they would not remember the many victories and miracles that The Lord performed for them. Anytime they faced a challenge in the wilderness, they forgot all about the good things that God did and began to panic and complain. (To learn more about the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land, please refer to the books of Exodus and Numbers).
What I learn from this is that we should continually remember the good things Jesus has done for us and thank Him for it. We should also find opportunities to share those testimonies with others, because it will glorify God and encourage the person we are testifying to. Let’s not allow the challenges we are facing keep us from seeing God’s faithfulness in our life.
Psalms 77:11 -12 KJV
I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
God bless you
