I used to wonder why some people are misled in their beliefs about God If they claim to follow Christ.
The revelation I received was that God gave us His Word so we can know Him, but many Christians don’t spend time getting to know God and His Word for themselves.
When we don’t take time to know the Word of God, we make ourselves easily susceptible to the tricks of the devil.
This is why It is very important for each of us to study the Bible regularly and put into practice what we learn in the Word of God. Knowing and practicing the Word of God protects us spiritually.
The Bible says that in times right before Jesus’ return, the deception will only continue to increase (Mathew 24:24). That’s why more than ever before, we need to stay close to God so He may direct us in what’s right.
As you study the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding. If He doesn’t answer you right away, don’t be discouraged. Keep reading over the Scripture and praying for revelation about what you don’t understand. God will help you.
