Let me tell you one thing about pride; it is a lie! For instance, In Isaiah 14:13-15 satan thought he could take the kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Very One who created him. Think about this for a moment; the creation was trying to overthrow its CREATOR. Do you see how deceiving pride can be? It puffs up people and makes them feel untouchable and invincible. Pride is dangerous, as it leads to the downfall of those it possesses. It is the very sin that led God to kick satan out of Heaven (Isaiah14:15). If you struggle with pride, ask for Jesus’ forgiveness and ask Him to give you humility. I also recommend studying about the life of Jesus because even though Christ was God in a human body, He was very humble. He is the perfect example of humility. (For further study please read the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
