Daniel 2:27-28 NIV
Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:
In the Book of Daniel, there were astrologers, sorcerers, and other occultists who worked for the king of Babylon. The king relied on these “wise men” to get information.
One day he had a strange dream that he needed to be interpreted, but none of those wise men could tell the king his dream or the meaning. Daniel, however, prayed and God revealed it to him. (Daniel 2)
Today many people seek out answers about their lives through occult practices like tarot cards, psychics, horoscopes, etc., but that isn’t God’s will.
Such practices provide “answers” that may sound accurate at times, but it’s coming from a demonic source. (Acts 16:16-18)
Seek your wisdom from God. If there is something you want to know or understand about your life, He can reveal it to you!
The Bible says:
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5 NIV)
