If you carefully study Jesus’ life there was nothing comfortable about it. He was born in a manger, He was homeless, He walked and traveled by boat to preach the gospel, He died on the cross for our sins and etc. One thing Jesus taught me is that there’s no growth in a place of comfort. Growth requires some stretching, pressing, and etc. If you are going through hard times and have been praying to Jesus to change your situation, but He hasn’t, Jesus has a good reason as to why. Jesus uses troubles to develop the characters of His followers, trust Him!
James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
