One night my son persistently asked for a supplement we were giving him. Impatient, he kept asking over and over only to get the same answer: it’s not time yet.

It’s not that we were withholding the supplement, but we gave it at a particular time of day.

This exchange with my son reminded me how we can grow impatient with God when we’re waiting for something we need.

Do you feel as if you’ve prayed and waited enough and God is late to answer?

The truth is, God is never late, but He operates in His own timing.

If you find yourself impatient during the wait, remember that He hasn’t forgotten you. At the right time, God will come through if you just hold on.

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
