1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
We may find certain temptations to be difficult for us to withstand, but the verse above tells us that God doesn’t allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle. Not only that, but He always gives us a way out of the temptation! When we are tempted to give in to sin, God’s Word can give us wisdom about how to remain faithful to God. Through prayer we can also get power from Jesus to resist the temptation.
