Proverbs 9:16-18 NLT
“Come in with me,” she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgment, she says, “Stolen water is refreshing; food eaten in secret tastes the best!” But little do they know that the dead are there. Her guests are in the depths of the grave.
This woman spoken of in Proverbs reminds me of how satan works. He will use people or situations to make sin sound pleasing when it actually leads to destruction.
By studying God’s Word and following the Holy Spirit’s leading, we will have the wisdom and discernment needed to judge what’s right or wrong.
Galatians 5:16 NLT
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
