People have different beliefs about the afterlife. Some believe there is no afterlife. Others believe they will go to heaven for being a good person. Then there are some who think they will live again as another human.
This is what the Bible says:
Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
(Hebrews 9:27 NIV)
After death, our souls will live eternally in heaven or hell, depending on whether we had our sins forgiven through Jesus Christ.
There is no other way to heaven except through Christ, and to be saved we must repent and believe in Him. That is what it means to be born of God.
If you would like to become born again in Christ and have a personal relationship with Him, you can start by saying this prayer out loud:
Lord Jesus,
I believe you died and rose.
I confess with my mouth without anyone forcing me, that I am saved.
Remove my name from the book of death, and write my name in the book of life.
Amen
Life is short, and we never know when our time to die will come.
