The Prophet Daniel was very prayerful even though he had many responsibilities. You would think his high position in the government would hinder him from praying, but it didn’t.
The Bible says:
Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. (Daniel 6:10 NIV)
Are you in a busy season of life? God wants us to work hard, but don’t forget to balance work with prayer. If you have a busy schedule, you can take prayer breaks like Daniel to keep Jesus first in your life.
